‘Sophia has cancer- it is rare and it is aggressive’
It was a short few months ago, on the 16th of July, that we heard these words for the first time.
Since that dreaded moment, we have felt every emotion possible and have learnt so much about Sophia’s cancer and the treatment options available. Thanks to research, science and prayer, Sophia’s cancer is responding remarkably well to chemotherapy and we, along with her incredible medical team, remain hopeful that she will be cured.
Right now, cancer is the largest single killer of children from disease in Australia – over 600 children are diagnosed with cancer every year and sadly, 3 precious children die every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
And so we are riding and raising funds to support the Children's Medical Research Institute to continue their work into the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
Please support our challenge by making a tax deductible donation through our fundraising page to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
Together, we can save little lives.
