  • Ocean Grove Loop - Week 1 Training
    31 Aug 2020

    This week we dusted off the cobwebs and completed our first training ride with a nice and easy 20km peddle around Ocean Grove.

    We saw some streets we hadn't been down in years as we cruised around, also spotted a lot of new estates and some beautiful water views.

    We only came across one territorial magpie right at the end but as he didn't actually swoop, I'm calling it a win.

    Paula = 1 v Magpies = 0.

    This October, Birches on Bikes is taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

    Because right now, cancer is the largest single killer of children from disease in Australia – over 600 children are diagnosed with cancer every year and sadly, 3 die every week.

    Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

    And so we are riding and raising funds to support the Children's Medical Research Institute to continue their work into the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

    Please support our challenge by making a donation through our fundraising page to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

    Together, we can save little lives.

    Thanks for your support.
