Help Team Pinnacle reach our target!5 Aug 2019
Here at Pinnacle Spine & Sports, we've decided to work together in the 2019 Great Cycle Challenge for 2 reasons:
1) Because we want to do what we can to help those suffering from the horrors of childhood cancer
2) Because we want to encourage our valued patients to get out & get moving - what better way to combine these two great purposes!
We're hoping to get a tribe together and raise the (perhaps) audacious figure of $20,000, and ride a combined team total of 10,000km.
Now, that's obviously a lot to achieve for one person (some may say, probably impossible....), but with 40 people it's just 250km each (and $500 fundraising). OR, with 50 people it's just 200km and $400 funds raised.....and the more we get the easier it will be! I'd like to think we'll blow those figures out of the water, but we'll start with $20K/10K and see how we go!
So if you're a cyclist, no matter how regular (or proficient), please join up and start fundraising! There's no minimum amount you have to ride, you just select your own target and go from there.
A few years back I did 500km in the month, but that was hard work in amongst kids and running a business. So I'll aim for 350km this year (both the number of kids and the size of the business have grown since the last challenge!) and see if I can add on top of that as the month goes on.
I'm really looking forward to joining you all in October for what will be a great challenge, with great results for all involved.
Hope to see you on the team!Posted 42 days ago

This October, Pinnacle Spine & Sports is taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Because right now, cancer is the largest single killer of children from disease in Australia – over 600 children are diagnosed with cancer every year and sadly, 3 die every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
And so we are riding and raising funds to support the Children's Medical Research Institute to continue their work into the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
Please support our challenge by making a donation through our fundraising page to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
Together, we can save little lives.
Thanks for your support.
