• Lucky tomorrow is the LAST DAY of the 2025 Great Cycle Challenge
    29 Oct 2025

As the 80 year old Team leader, I have to say I'm not the rider I was last year. Having Cycled 1,262 km's in this campaign so far, the body has changed somewhat. On the plus side I notice I create less wind resistance and there is little risk of getting sunburn. It's great that Traffic gives me a wide berth. My wife is an amazing cook but she has been in Hospital this Month so I missed a few meals. I fear now that she won't recognize me.

  • IT'S THAT SERIOUS!
    5 Sep 2025

Every year in Australia, 700 families hear the heart-breaking news, “your child has cancer.” Sadly 3 Children succumb to Cancer every week. (Thats around 156 young lived lost each year). While there are mostly BRAVE smiles in these pictures, the devastation of a diagnosis, and the pain of seeing your kiddo endure harsh treatments, can be overwhelming. Our efforts to support childhood cancer research are bringing hope to these brave kids and their families. Please join us as your Donation and support will save little lives.

  • AROUND THE WORLD (40,075km) in 31 Days for Childrens Cancer Research
    5 Jun 2025

The Earth's circumference measured around the equator, is 40,075 km, that is Redlands Cycling & Multisport Club Team's target for 31 October Days. At age 80, my personal Target contribution to that is 1000km. We are hoping for a Team of at least 55 participants and of course favorable weather.
