A Big Thank You

Eight Great Cycle Challenges completed and still standing, albeit, with sore butts.

4,681 cyclist participated in this year’s event and through the month of October they cycled a total of 1,031,408 kilometres.

A big thanks to my cycling buddies: Pom, Brian, David, Ian, Joop, Simon and Phil who helped us push through the pain, pain that is insignificant when compared to that faced by the Kids and the families we were cycling for.

Thank you all for your phenomenal support and the encouragement that has pushed us well beyond the targets we set out to achieve.

Past halfway and all is good.

After a slow start, I've finally managed to get on target in my challenge of riding 400 kilometers in October. The new knees are behaving in that they take it in turns to irritate me, and never at the same time.

Thank you all for your generous support of The Fight Against Kids' Cancer and for your words of encouragement that keep me in the saddle and turning the peddles.
