Waiting for Tomorrow

All week I’ve been pumped for my bike ride out to Lake Tinaroo. I woke this morning and the sky was cloudy, it was windy and quite a lot of drizzle was falling from the sky above. In past times I would have taken one look out the window and thought to myself “It’s a sh*t day, I’ll wait for tomorrow when the weather clears.”

We’ll f*ck that, the kids I’m riding for next month don’t wait for tomorrow, they use every ounce of strength they have to fight for today.

So with that in mind I started pedalling up every hill I could find (insert sarcasm) on my way to Tinaroo. Approximately 15km later, saturated from head to toe I have arrived.

So here’s to today! A reminder about not waiting for tomorrow but enjoying the trials and tribulations of today because tomorrow may never come.
