Today was my last ride for GCC requiring 25km. Glad to say I rode round Maggie, as much as you can and took out 36km on the Mtn Bike. Thank you to all my supporters online and in the Pharmacy. All those little anonymous cash donations add up to help a great cause. Fighting Cancer for kids. This has being my 3rd year involved and I am so blessed to have healthy children and generous support to reach our goals. If you are holding off till I rode the 250km, now is time to donate on the below link. If it is per Kilometre, I give you a bonus 11 clicks 🤣
So yesterday after braking hard I could hear this flapping sound. I had a look whilst riding and then eventually got off to check it out. The tread was flapping against the bike when riding. So I did what anyone else would and kept riding (as I only had just started). The tread then came off and I hoped not to puncture for the next 26km 🤣
I only have 1 more ride for 25km, 10% of my total. I think I’ll finish on my Mountain Bike for a treat!
I have less than 100km to go and rode with the 2024 jersey sent through. It is inspiring to know many of you are doing this all over the nation for the beautiful children fighting cancer. Much love and best wishes from Magnetic Island, QLD
Today we rode tipping me past my half way point. It was great to get out with Sonia my wife and our friend Tiff. We rode out to West Point on Magnetic Island.
Beautiful scenery and wonderful people.
