Today is the final day of October, it has been a wild month , of course its Magpie season in Australia and the swoops are real, spikey and painful but nothing in comparison to the pain of knowing your child is tackling cancer treatment
Im happy knowing I have made a difference in my months riding , I will keep on peddling.
Thankyou š“ā¤ļø
As October draws to a close, I am delighted to report that my 75 km cycling challenge has been surpassed. Having ridden 183km, I am grateful for the love, support, and encouragement from my family, friends, and work colleagues, which has enabled me to raise $824 for kids' cancer research š¬. Thank you.
When we say lets have a ride around the blockā¦.. well around this beautiful place where I live its a trek and a half as itās fields and fields of cows and trees with magpies hahaha
Wednesday 15th my car was in for her service so I dropped her off at silly oclock(4.30am) and rode my bike to work Annerley - Coorparoo 10km
Then ride back again after i finished work so 20km done this day yippee!
One place I just adore is the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail. Since moving to Fernvale in 2010 I have ridden every single metre of the 167km trailā¦.. What better way that to celebrate this beautiful countryside of the Somerset region
I rode from my home to the Lockyer Creek Bridge and back, its where I did a photo shoot for the Somerset Tourism magazine in 2016, photo evidence on my FB and Insta page lol
37km today
Rode around my beautiful home town of Fernvale and up to the Wivenhoe Damm this morning to see the gorgeous views of the lake
Magpies š¦ were swooping down on me and I rode around a few dead snakes š just over 25km today and im more than half way to my goal
Got home from work as the sun was setting so only had a very short ride tonight due to the dark!
Swooped once, i won the battle it didnāt draw blood this time lol
Short ride this morning
