Our Ride

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to the fundraising page of team ‘Over The Hill’. The team consists of mates David, Daniel, Tony and Brett. They plan to ride their mountain bikes 165klm over 3 days to raise much needed funds for the Children’s Medical Research Institute.

The ride will take them through the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail starting at Yarraman and finishing at Wulkuraka. They will set off on the 25th of October.

Whilst they have time to train for the big ride this is not the same for kids and their families ahead of a life changing diagnoses. Team ‘Over The Hill’ would love you to support them in their endeavour to make as much money as they can for this great cause.

This October, Team Over the Hill is taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Because right now, cancer is the largest single killer of children from disease in Australia – over 700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year and sadly, 3 die every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

And so we are riding and raising funds to support the Children's Medical Research Institute to continue their work into the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
