My Story
I’m Back — Riding 1000KM in the 2026 Great Cycle Challenge!
This time iam riding from Salzburg to Grado then Trieste to Palu in Croatia, I will be following my Dad, Herb, he is on 83 years young!
Remember to come and support our team group also in the link below.
This October, I’m once again taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer.
Why? Because cancer is still the biggest killer of children by disease in Australia. Every year, over 700 kids are diagnosed, and tragically, 3 young lives are lost each week.
Last few years, your support helped me make a real impact — and this year, I’m back to do it again.
💪 My 2026 Goal:
🚴 Ride 1000 kilometres
💰 Raise $2,500 for childhood cancer research
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
I’m riding and raising funds to support the Children’s Medical Research Institute and their vital work in prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
💛 Please Support My Challenge
You can donate via my fundraising page:
Every dollar brings us closer to a cure. Every kilometre I ride is for the kids who can’t.
Thank you for standing with me again.
Let’s ride. Let’s fight. Let’s save little lives.

8 Oct 2026Here is his bike in the back of Igor’s van. He was driven 100m down a hill over a few kms. It was very rough cobblestone. They only could fit one bike so I rode down.
It was FUN!
