My Story

This October, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! I have given myself a goal of 50kms which is really far for my little legs. Sometimes my legs get tiered, but that’s ok, I can still keep riding.

Because right now, cancer is the largest single killer of children from disease in Australia – over 700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year and sadly, 3 die every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

And so I am riding and raising funds to support the Children's Medical Research Institute to continue their work into the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Bushy pump track laps

6 Oct 2026

Today we drove out to Bushys new pump track for an arvo sess with Denny, Nickolas and Dad. Dad helped me concentrate on getting lite for the ups and heavy for the downs to help gain speed around the track. Dad said I’m doing the berms a lot better this time there.

We then picked up pizza and had dinner with Poppy, Laurel and Ra Ra.

Today we rode on the path around the river, I got to stop and play at the park. It was also my first ride over the new bridge, and we rode past school on the way home.

To the top top of Finchy

This lap we rode a little bit higher and got all the way to the top. We spun the wheel of which trail to rail. We rode up G’day G’day, and headed down lost loco onto green whistle onto No Wuckas back to the car park. Green whistle is my favourite trail at Finchy.

We rode with our old neighbours who have moved to Canberra. We rode up G’day G’day and down green whistle onto No Wuckas. It’s hard to get up to the top of the trails but so much fun when we come down. I loved riding with Korben again.
