Dedicating all rides to everyone currently fighting cancer, and all who’ve gained their wings: You are in our hearts, thoughts and prayers. This October, I’m riding for you!

My Story

6 Feb 2022

2022 marks my 10th anniversary of fundraising and riding in the Great Cycle Challenge. I’d love to challenge myself and my legendary community of supporters to raise the bar this year with an increased fundraising target for kids fighting cancer.

CANCER is STILL the LARGEST SINGLE KILLER OF CHILDREN from disease in Australia – over 600 children are diagnosed with cancer every year and 3 die EVERY WEEK.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

Every donation is supporting the Children's Medical Research Institute to continue their incredible work into the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and ultimately finding a cure for childhood cancer.

TOGETHER, we can save little lives.

“I am not this hair, I am not this skin, I am the soul that lives within.” ~ Rumi

Today, 4 February 2022, is World 🌎 Cancer Day, a global day of awareness to unite people across the world in the fight against cancer.

It's also a day to remember all those we’ve lost, celebrate those who have won their battle and show our support for those still fighting this terrible disease.

THANK YOU for your incredible support for Mariam and me to help fight kids’ cancer over the 10 years that we’ve been doing this challenge.
