Where has the time gone?! October 2026 is here, and I’m once again proud to take part in the Great Cycling Challenge—a powerful movement to fight childhood cancer.

This year, I’ve pledged to ride 1,000 kilometres throughout October to raise vital funds for the Children's Medical Research Institute, whose groundbreaking work is helping to prevent, diagnose, treat, and ultimately cure childhood cancers.

Childhood cancer is a heartbreaking disease that affects not only the children battling it, but also their families, friends, and communities. For some types of childhood cancer, survival rates remain tragically low. That’s why research is not just important—it’s urgent.
