Where has the time gone !!!!

October 2024 is here, and once again I have committed to the Great Cycling Challenge 2024.

Firstly, I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to my ongoing supporters which have helped tremendously in the past with their very kind donations in helping this worthy cause.

There are a lot of fundraising events but this one is dear to my heart as children deserve a fighting chance to experience life, to enjoy life and live life with their families and friends not living life in a hospital fighting horrible CANCER.

I have pledged to ride 1200km for the month of October to raise funds to support the Children's Medical Research Institute to continue their wonderful work into the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Children's Medical Research Institute (CMRI) has around one hundred and sixty scientists and research students, working in teams that operate thirteen research units and world-leading expertise in four main areas of research: Cancer, Neurobiology, Embryology and Gene Therapy.

Their aim is to accelerate research into children’s genetic diseases, birth defects and childhood cancer to find better treatments and cures, so Australian kids can live normal, happy lives.

Cancer research never slows down or closes it doors as without this research our future is compromised especially our young ones, they are our future …… if you are able to support my challenge by making a donation through my fundraising page this will certainly help put a smile on their little faces and hopefully a brighter future they deserve.
