Super Sienna

I am humbled to be supporting an awesome ambassador of this years Great Cycle challenge. At just 3 years old, this little cutie has been diagnosed in March with melanoma.

My Story

11 Sep 2024

Yes I'm onto it again this October, Its my sixth year in taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

My challenge will by the end of October see my total achievements over the six years of over 5000kms completed and hopefully over $10,000 raised in support of the battle in fighting childhood cancer.

Because right now, cancer is the largest single killer of children from disease in Australia – over 700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year and sadly, 3 die every week.

Over the years I have received excellent support from everyone in my quest to contribute to efforts of those researchers who are closer to finding more treatments and cures for childhood cancer.

In advance, may I thankyou and I am deeply grateful for your incredible support - its inspiring.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

Please support my challenge by making a donation through my fundraising page to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

Together, we can save little lives.

Thanks for your support.

Wow, what a whirlwind ride to the end of this year's Great Cycle Challenge. Above all expectations, getting a $500 donation towards kids' cancer research. I continue to be awe struck by the support I've received, not only this year but over the 6 years I have been on my quest. Thanks again, and I hope I am able to saddle up again next year.

Well, when I started , I never expected that I could raise $10,000 to help the fight to seek a cure for kids cancer. However, this week, that magic number was achieved, and now I am among the amazing group of All Star riders, which means I will receive an exclusive one-off Great Cycle Challenge All-Star cycling jersey. Wow, this could not have happened without the wonderful supporters who have struck with me. A BIG THANKS to you all.

    3 Oct 2024

What a beautiful day. Big effort and now over the 200kms.

On my virtual ride, 1000km = Taree to Bundaberg, so it would put me at almost Coffs Harbour. Again, 2 x swoops Cundle Post Office and the new one at the Old Bar roundabout at the southern entry to Taree.

PM ride for the day 24kms, and with the morning ride the day totalled 62 kms. Bit of off road when I overcooked a corner and left the road at speed. Good bike skills by keeping it upright and returned to the road.😆
