My Story

To me, there is nothing better than seeing my 2 boys out on their bikes having a blast, be it riding to Kindy, cruising down the beach or tearing it up in the bush. I am so grateful that I am able to share the sport I love with the people I love.

This October, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Children’s cancer is something that thankfully, I do not have personal experience with. I do however, know how much I love my children and can only imagine how hard it would be if their health were ever in question.

What I do know is how to do is ride bikes, so with that in mind I’m riding in October to do what I can to help beat cancer. I’ll be honest, I’ve not ridden as much as I should of late, but for this I’ll get back on the bike and give it a cracking go to hit 400km in October.

As Socrates said, the greatness of a society is achieved when old men plant trees whose shade they may not make use of.

Do something great and help those who you may never know, but know need your help anyway
