My Story

This October, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Because right now, cancer is the largest single killer of children from disease in Australia – over 600 children are diagnosed with cancer every year and sadly, 3 die every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

And so I am riding and raising funds to support the Children's Medical Research Institute to continue their work into the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support my challenge by making a donation through my fundraising page to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

    I hate the cold. I mean I really hate the cold… 🥶. When I ride outside I love to look around and watch the world around me. When I’m on the spin cycle I reflect… this can be scary at times but I am focussing on what I can influence (not control) looking forward and working on letting go of the past and certainly not becoming stuck. I am so grateful for this time, and for Liam Cooper Potts; the little angel who helped save me from myself. Kids should be laughing, dancing & playing - not fighting fucked up diseases like cancer. Thank you for my future Liam, it may not be what I thought it would be but it’s mine. Keep watching down on your mummy, daddy and sisters they are always looking for you ❤️ (and Inoke posing here is definitely a 10)

    A ride in the fresh air is an essential part of my life to maintain a healthy work / balance. Time to reflect on the individual struggles each of us has, and how we never really know what another person is going through; what’s happening behind the smile. But then we don’t need to know that. What we do need to do however is approach each and every moment with kindness and compassion, and endeavour to stay in that… choosing how we respond rather than choosing to be responsible for others actions. It’s been a tough couple of days up here and at moments question myself but I also leave knowing I showed up as me and gave it my all. I don’t regret these moments but these 1s (if 1 is really shit - 10 is bloody brilliant) help show me how good a 10 is. Celebrate the small wins. Support the good causes. Tell your people you love them. And if you’re missing someone tell them too. And always show up as you. (And do t forget to push start on your app when you start your ride 😱) Head high always!
