In October, I am again riding in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer. This will be my fifth Challenge!

Right now, cancer is the largest single killer of children from disease in Australia – over 600 children are diagnosed with cancer every year and sadly, 3 die every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So, I am riding and raising funds to support the Children's Medical Research Institute to continue their work into the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

This year I'm challenging myself to ride 125km, the same last year and have set my fundraising target at $1,000.

I'm looking forward to some better weather in the upcoming weekends to get some time and kilometres in as I haven't been on the bike recently, I'm blaming contracting COVID-19 at the end of May 2024 and the cold and wet weekends!
