My Story

30 Sep 2024

For the past few years, I have lived a very sedentary lifestyle. Couch gaming, Sleep, Work, Eat, Repeat. This year, I have challenged myself to become more active and live a healthy lifestyle. A month ago, I got a bike to prepare and train for my first ever Great Cycle Challenge.

I have been blessed to become a father of a lovely, healthy and energetic son, Ezio. And we cannot be thankful enough to the most high for giving my family good health. I understand that a lot of families cannot say the same. That is why....

This October, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Because right now, cancer is the largest single killer of children from disease in Australia – over 700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year and sadly, 3 die every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

And so I am riding and raising funds to support the Children's Medical Research Institute to continue their work into the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support my challenge by making a donation through my fundraising page to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

Together, we can save little lives.

Thanks for your support.

Circa 1994, 30 years ago, at the age of 3, I had the privilege of being taught by my dad how to ride a bicycle. A skill which will stay with me forever until my legs give up on me when I grow old.

I am lucky enough to have lived through life. However, there are families who cannot say the same.

    Cancer is a menace.

I am blessed to become a father to a healthy and lovely 5 year old son, Ezio. However, I feel for those who are battling through cancer at an early stage in life. Cancer does not only affect the victim, but those around them as well. They may not get to experience the simple joys of learning how to ride a bike.

This October, I am riding the Great Cycle Challenge to give back to the community, and help those in need. This may be small in the grand scheme of things, but with your help, we can save little lives together.

    Thanks for your support!
