My Story

This October, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Because cancer is the largest single killer of children from disease in Australia. Right now, 90 children are diagnosed every month, and sadly, 3 die every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

And so I am riding and raising funds to support the Children's Medical Research Institute to continue their work into the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Starting off my challenge on the stationary bike.

Road bike needs a service. 🤪

It has been quite awhile since I have ridden my bike and my 60 year old knees will set my pace.

I set a goal of 100km. Maybe I can go a bit further….

Cancer impacts us all, it takes away friends and family too soon.

I like to support this challenge especially as finding the way to a more effective treatment for children is a priority.
