My Story

Whilst I’m still fighting the good fight and awaiting liver transplant I have decided to take part in the Great Cycle Challenge again to fight kids' cancer which is the largest single killer of children from disease in Australia. This will raise funds for kids who are doing it even tougher than me so that one day, kids will never have to face what I am at present. Each year over 600 children are diagnosed with cancer and sadly, 3 die every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it. So whilst I am trying to get as "match fit" as possible for a pending liver transplant operation, I am riding in my loungeroom on a recumbent bike (as part of a team) and raising funds to support the Children's Medical Research Institute to continue their work into the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
